The Titan Birch Kitchen Island is a large capacity kitchen workcenter that is perfect for easily adding mobile storage to your kitchen. Featuring five large drawers, a cabinet, and a generously sized butcher block top with an 8.5" breakfast bar drop leaf that expands your workspace, the Titan Birch Kitchen Island perfectly suits all of your preparation and storage needs. A step shelf inside the cabinet adds versatility.
This kitchen island is constructed of naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American birch and finished in a lacquered base with an oiled butcher block top. It is also available in unfinished Ash wood, which you can paint or stain at home to match your kitchen décor.
The Titan Birch Kichen Island comes with satin nickel handles and heavy-duty lockable wheels so you can move the kitchen island with ease but keep it firmly in place when positioned.
The Titan Birch Kitchen Island is made in the U.S.A. with environmentally-conscious manufacturing techniques. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process are converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. No wood waste is generated.

John Boos & Co is firmly committed to managing environmental matters as an integral part of their business practice. Some of the steps they take to accomplish their “green” status include manufacturing wood products that emit far less carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, methane and other gases than processing non-wood substitutes; using only formaldehyde free and low emission formaldehyde gluing processes in manufacturing our butcher blocks; and having active recycling programs in place with 95% of all raw materials, scrap, and even their sawdust recycled as fuel to heat their kilns. Boos’ sawdust is also recycled as livestock bedding for their local agricultural needs.
