During cutting or chopping, the end grain wood fibers absorb the impact of the blade, which keeps knives sharper longer. The malleable and forgiving end grain surface is resistant to nicks and gouges, which prevents bacteria from entering the wood, keeps the board looking new longer and increases its longevity. The Round Slab Butcher Block is coated with a penetrating oil finish, which seals and protects the wood and helps it remain in top condition.

The Round Slab Butcher Block is reversible for maximal use. It features wooden feet with non-skid rubber pads, so you can be sure it will stay securely in place during cutting and chopping tasks.
