Classically designed and sturdily constructed, the Grand Americana Workcenter was designed with the cook's convenience foremost in mind. Under a solid 2" thick butcher block top there's a wide and deep drawer that is perfect for storing frequently used kitchen items. Below that, a generous shelf accessible from all sides lets you keep small appliances, cookbooks and other favorite tools within easy reach. Two more spacious drawers below the middle shelf maximize your storage space. All drawers glide smoothly open and shut on sturdy supports, and the entire workcenter rolls easily on four locking 3-in. caster wheels so you can move it where you want it and keep it securely in place when positioned. The workcenter is treated from top to bottom with a protective, food-safe oil finish.

The Grand Americana Kitchen Island Workcenter is made in the U.S.A. of fine domestic self-replenishing birch hardwood and hardwood materials. Environmentally-conscious techniques employed in its manufacture waste as little wood as possible. Manufacturing byproducts—chiefly sawdust and shavings—are converted into wood pellets that are burned to heat homes.
