The top of the Folding Stainless Steel Entertainer Kitchen Island is set in a beautiful parquet design made of basswood - a premium hardwood derived from rubber trees. The bottom shelf is made of solid basswood. The center shelf is also made of basswood and is designed to hold ten bottles of wine. Stemware racks mounted beneath the top conveniently hold up to 12 wine glasses.

The finished wood surface of this folding kitchen island cleans easily with mild soap and water, but cutting directly on the kitchen island can mar the surface of the wood. We recommend using a cutting board or butcher block atop this kitchen island. The frame of the Folding Stainless Steel Entertainer Kitchen Island is made of stainless steel and is set on three-inch locking chrome casters that roll easily and secure in place when positioned. A stainless steel utility bar provides a convenient place to hang a towel - and also doubles as a handle for maneuvering the kitchen island.
