The Folding Hardwood Kitchen Island is constructed of basswood - a premium hardwood derived from rubber trees. The hardwood top features a beautiful parquet design; the shelves are solid hardwood. The sturdy frame is set on smooth rolling chrome casters that lock securely in place when positioned.

The finished wood surface of this folding kitchen island cleans easily with mild soap and water, but cutting directly on the kitchen island can mar the surface of the wood.
