Empire Island

Designed to conquer the largest kitchen tasks, the Empire Kitchen Island boasts more than 14.5 square feet of work surface when fully extended. Standing at a comfortable 36" high, the top is made of 1.25-inch thick domestic hardwood and measures a generous 44" wide x 26" deep. Two pull-out leaves extend the work surface another 18 inches on each side (36 inches total) and each measure 30 inches high – the perfect height for preparing food while seated or for keeping ingredients within easy reach of the main work surface. Modern nickel-plated hardware serves as sturdy drawer and leaf pulls and doubles as towel bars. Full extension glides on both the leaves and the drawer allow for easy pull-out and return. Cabinet doors on both sides of the island allow convenient access to items stored on the cabinet's adjustable shelf. Without a center divider inside, you have more room to store extra large items. Sturdy locking casters allow the Empire Kitchen Island to move with the chef or remain stationary.

The finest lumber is purchased from local area sawmills then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site at the Catskill Craftsmen facility. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials produced during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel and used to heat homes, thus generating no wood waste.
