The mid-size Cuisine Kitchen Island makes a welcome addition to any kitchen. The large top surface provides ample working space, which extends an additional 10 inches when the drop leaf (optional) is raised. The Cuisine Kitchen Island has a large-capacity drawer that can hold an abundance of kitchen tools and gadgets, while the cabinet below opens to two shelves, one of which adjusts so you can maximize your storage area. There's a towel bar on one side that is perfect for hanging dish-towels or kitchen utensils. Locking caster wheels let you easily move the Cuisine Kitchen Island where you want it, and lock it securely into place when positioned.

The top, cabinet doors, drawer and structural members of the Cuisine Kitchen Island are made of fine self-replenishing domestic hardwood, finished with a food-safe oil that seals and protects the wood. Its shelves and sides are matched hardwood veneer, and its hardware is made of brushed-nickel.

The Cuisine Kitchen Island is made in the U.S.A. Environmentally-conscious techniques employed in its manufacture waste as little wood as possible. Manufacturing byproducts—chiefly sawdust and shavings—are converted into wood pellets that are burned to heat homes.
