The Bloc de Foyer is a beautiful addition to any kitchen, combining a rich red cherry work surface with a solid jet black base. The 5-inch thick cherry butcher block features end-grain construction with the standard Boos Block Cream Finish with Beeswax. The Boos block cream penetrates deeply into the grains of the wood, leaving a silky wax barrier to lock moisture in, and allows your board to be used as a cutting surface. The slatted shelf below provides storage for cooking or decorative items and a dovetailed apron drawer is the perfect place to stow aprons, towels or pot holders.
