The maple top of this rolling work table is treated with a clear Varnique finish that seals and protects the wood, but it is not meant to be cut upon directly. The stainless steel base of the Baker's Butcher Block Work Table is constructed of type 300 stainless steel with a #3 polish and satin finish. The legs are made of 1.625-inch 16-gauge tubing with gussets to attach to the wood top. All gussets have two locking set screws. The lower shelf is made of 18-gauge stainless steel and is fixed at 12 inches from the floor. A built-in stainless steel bun pan rack conveniently holds eight 18" x 26" pans. Set on sturdy five-inch diameter non-marking casters, this baker's work table is easy to maneuver.
